Getting paid safely, and making sure you feel safe paying, is honestly half of what makes an online jewelry store trustworthy. Here's exactly how payments work when you order from Vilora Labelle.
How you can pay
Our primary payment method is Bank Transfer — you'll receive our account details after placing your order, and your order gets confirmed once the transfer is received on our end. We also accept credit and debit cards at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.
Paying by bank transfer
Once you select Bank Transfer at checkout, our account details are shown right there on the same page, along with your order number — please include that order number as the payment reference so we can match your transfer to your order without any delay. Orders are processed and moved into shipping once the transfer clears on our end, which is usually 1 to 2 business days depending on your bank. If a transfer takes longer than that and you're not sure it's gone through, email us your order number and transaction reference and we'll check on our side too.
Paying by card
Card payments are handled through a secure, encrypted payment gateway at checkout, and this part matters enough to say plainly: your card details never touch our own servers. We don't see your full card number, we don't store it, and we can't access it after checkout. Card orders are confirmed instantly, which is the main advantage over bank transfer if you'd rather not wait for a transfer to clear.
Payment Security
We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption across the site, which scrambles sensitive information — like your payment details — as it travels between your browser and our checkout, so it can't be intercepted or read by anyone in between. This is the same baseline security standard used across virtually every legitimate online store, and it's active on every page where you're entering personal or payment information, not just checkout.
Our card payments are processed through a PCI-compliant payment gateway, which means the systems handling your card data meet the security standards set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council — the body that exists specifically to reduce fraud risk from exposed card data. In practice, this means when you check out with a card, your billing details, shipping information, and order details are visible to us, but your full card number never is — at most, we can see the last four digits, the same way it appears on your own bank statement.
We don't rent, sell, or trade your personal information with anyone. How we collect and use it is covered in full in our Privacy Policy.
What currency you're charged in
Prices on the site are listed in USD. If you're ordering from the UK or somewhere in Europe, your card issuer typically converts that to your local currency automatically, using whatever exchange rate they apply that day — that part is between you and your bank, not something we set. For bank transfers, please check with your bank about any currency conversion or international transfer fees before sending payment, since those are charged by your bank, not by us.
When your order actually gets processed
For card payments, your order moves into processing as soon as payment clears, which is usually immediate. For bank transfers, we wait until we can actually see the funds on our end before your order starts processing — we know that's a short wait, but it protects both of us from an order shipping against a payment that never actually arrived.
Why we sometimes double-check an order
Every now and then, an order looks a little off — a shipping address that doesn't match the name on the transfer, an unusually large purchase from a brand-new customer, that kind of thing. When that happens, we might pause briefly and reach out for quick verification before it ships. It adds a short delay, but it exists to protect you as much as us, especially with higher-value jewelry pieces worth taking seriously.
If something looks wrong on your statement
See a charge you don't recognize, or a bank transfer that hasn't been acknowledged after a couple of business days? Email info@viloralab.store with your order number, and we'll look into it directly rather than sending you off to figure it out alone.
